Characteristics Rubber accelerator ZBEC is white to light-cream power, and its relative density is 1.14g/cm3 and melting point above 178.0℃. It is soluble in alcohol, benzene, chloromethane, but insoluble in water, and has storage stability.
Applications ZBEC is asuper-speed accelerator for natural and synthetic rubber and latex, and its curing temperature is low. Compared with ZDBC, ZDEC and PZ, ZBEC has safe operating and can take the place of them. It won't produce cancer-causing nitrosamine during manufacturing process, and can be used as excellent activator of thiazole accelerator. In ZBEC vulcanization system, matching quantity of Zine oxide and sulfur is appropriate, and aliphatic acid isn't a must. It can be added directly into latex and also pre-dispersed. ZBEC is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 177.2600 and under BgVV XXI, Categories 1-4 and "Sonder kategorie".
