Characteristics Rubber accelerator CuMDC(CDD) is soluble in acetone, benzene and chloroform, and insoluble in water, alcohol and gasoline. The density is 1.70~1.78g/cm3, and the decomposition temperature is above 245.0℃.

 

Applications It is applicablefor SBR, IIRand BR, but not NR. Its scorchtime is short, generallythe processing safety is improved by being used with thiazole orsulfonamide. Mainly used for manufacturing electric wire. When used as main accelerator in SBR,the use level is 0.2～0.75, andwith 1.5～0.2 of sulfonamide and 2.0～0.5 of sulfur.As second accelerator, 0.05～0.2 with 0.5～2.0 of sulfonamide and 2.5～1.5 of sulfur. As main accelerator in IIR, the use level is 1.0～2.0, andwith 0.5～2.0ofsulfonamide and 2.0～1.0 of sulfur.

Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlight.
