Characteristics It is the improved product of Adhesive AS-88, One of resorcinol - formaldehyde -silica systems and combines the function of formaldehyde donor with the function of formaldehyde receptor. It is suitable for adhesion between various rubber and reinforcing materials, such as brass-plated steel cord, glass fiber, rayon,polyester and nylon. AS-88 has the advantages of: 1. White waxy solid, beneficial to storing, conveying, metering, feeding and dispersion; 2. Single component, beneficial to decreasing production cost of rubber factory; 3. Discoloration during vulcanization at high temperature, beneficial for making light rubber articles; 4. Good adhesion, especially good adhesion retention after aging; 5. Increasing mixing plasticity, decreasing heat build-up, improving processibility, extending scorching time without affecting vulcanization, improving comprehensive properties; 6.Application performance and binding effect is better than AS-88.
Applications Adhesive RC is added during mixing and leads to good adhesion via vulcanization. Generally, 3~5 phr of RC and 10~15 phr of silica are added depending on the types of rubbers, reinforcing materials and rubber products. The optimal adhesion obtained by blending with cobalt salt.
Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kg/bag
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlight.
