Product Description ZEPC(PX)-80 is a polymeric dispersion of zinc ethylphenl dithiocarbamate. This masterbatch dispersion has fast curing rate in NR, SBR, NBR and EPDM. It can delay the start of curing with thiuram and thiazole, and increase processing safety. Compared with ZDBC(BZ)-80 and ZDEC(ZDC EZ)-80, it has long scorch time and short curing time. Alkaline accelerator imparts active effect to ZEPC(PX)-80. Slight ZEPC(PX)-80 is used as assistant accelerator for thiol or thiuram. It imparts high tensile strength and resilience to vulcanizate.

 

Processing Characteristics Generally, ZEPC(PX) powder has high melting point and large particle diameter, then it is so difficult to soften and disperse at processing temperature that vulcanization activity and mechanical properties of vulcanizate lower. However, ZEPC(PX)-80 is formed by pre-dispersing selected ZEPC(PX) powder to binder with certain surfactant. ZEPC(PX)-80 disperses easily in kinds of rubber compounds to keep optimal activity of ZEPC(PX). ZEPC(PX)-80 has good dosing property and fluidity, no irritating dust and no material loss.

 

Dosage NR: 0.3 ~1.0 phr;

            SBR/ NBR: 0.8 ~ 1.2 phr;

            As assistant accelerator: 0.1 ~ 0.2 phr.

 

Applications Widely used in NR, EPDM, IR, SBR, NBR and IIR products, especially used for light-colored and transparent products.

 

Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kgs/bag.

 

Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlightfor up to 1 year.
