Characteristics ODAis soluble in benzene, gasoline, vinyl chloride and acetone, but insoluble in water.
Applications It is antioxidant for NR, SBR, CR, NBR etc. and has protection against heat oxygen, yield and fracture. It is also antioxidant for polyolefin or lubricant. It presents prominent heat-resistance in CR, and more prominent if combined with TPPD. It also decreases the plasticity of unvulcanized rubberand rolling contraction ratio of CR, so that helps adjust semi-finished products size. Mainly used in manufacturing tyres, inner tubes, cables, rubber floor and sponge products.
