Performance:Dark brown powder. Slightly smells. Relative density 1.70~1.78g/㎝3. The decomposition temperature is greater than 245.0°C. Insoluble in water, ethanol and gasoline, soluble in acetone, benzene and chloroform. Storage stability.
Use:Used as a rapid vulcanization accelerator for styrene-butadiene rubber, butyl rubber and butadiene rubber, and generally not suitable for natural rubber. Easy scorch, usually modified with thiazole and sulfenamide to increase its processing safety. Mainly used in the manufacture of wire, industrial products, tape extrusion products. When used as the main accelerator in styrene-butadiene rubber, this product is used in 0.2-0.75 parts, with 1.5-0.2 parts of sulfenamide and 2.0-0.5 parts of sulfur; when used as an auxiliary accelerator, this product is used in 0.05-0.2 parts, 0.5-2.0 parts of sulfenamide and 2.5-1.5 parts of sulfur. When used as the main accelerator in butyl rubber, this product is used in 1.0-2.0 parts, with sulfenamide 0.5-2.0 parts and sulfur 2.0-1.0 parts.
