For example, it reacts with the rubber adhesive A, the rubber adhesive AS-88, the adhesive RA, and the like to produce a thermosetting resin. The reaction will occur quickly at the vulcanization temperature, and if the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the adhesion of the compounding system will be lost. Usually, the rubber, filler and rubber binder RS are prepared at a higher temperature, and then the methylene donor and other compounding agents are added.
As a methylene donor of a white direct bonding system between rubber and skeleton materials, it is soluble in water and general organic solutions.
