This product is a mixture, insoluble in water, soluble in benzene, toluene, chlorobenzene, acetone and chloroform, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in petroleum ether and dilute hydrochloric acid.
Grey purple to purple brown granular solid, relative density 0.986-1.00. Soluble in benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane and toluene, slightly soluble in ether, insoluble in water.
