Product Description TMTD(TT)-80 has safe scorch and high curing rate in natural and synthetic rubber. If TMTD(TT)-80 is combined with thiol or sulfonamide, it will delay the start of curing and decrease scorch rate, but won't extend curing time and rarely affects cross-link density. Alkaline accelerator, e.g. aldehyde amine or guanidine, imparts active effect to TMTD(TT)-80. TMTD(TT)-80 is a primary accelerator when combined with sulfur, secondary one when thiazol, and is a vulcanizator in non-sulfur curing system. It will impart heat-resistance property to vulcanizate.

 

Processing Characteristics Generally, TMTD(TT) powder adheres to devices easily, disperses difficultly in mixing process, and vulcanizate blooms easily. However, TMTD(TT)-80 has good dosing and mixing property, and won't cake at ordinary temperature and humidity. It has good fluidity, no irritating dust and no material loss. It keeps optimal activity of TMTD(TT) and easily disperses in kinds of rubber compounds.

 

Dosage As primary accelerator, 0.1~1.0 phr TMTD(TT)-80 with 1.0~3.0 phr sulfur;

            As secondary accelerator, 0.05~0.25 phr TMTD(TT)-80 with 1.0~1.5 phr DM and 1.75~2.75 phr sulfur.

           In heat-resistance rubber system without free sulfur, 2.5~4.0 phr TMTD(TT)-80 with 0.5 phr M.

 

Applications Used in heat-resistance products, e.g. insulation layer of cable sheath or rigid vulcanizate.

 

Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kgs/bag.

 

Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlightfor up to 1 year.
