Product Description TBBS(NS)– 80 imparts long scorch time, processing safety and fast curing to rubber compound. It can increase heat-resistance and modulus property of vulcanizate when used alone in low sulfur curing system or combined with dithiocarbamate or thiuram. But TBBS(NS)-80 decreases curing rate when combined with dithiocarbamate or thiuram. Thiocarbamide accelerators impart secondary acceleration to TBBS(NS)-80, especially in low sulfur rubber compound. TBBS(NS)-80 delays scorch used in rubber compound containing thiol and thiuram.
Processing Characteristics Generally, TBBS(NS) powder adheres to devices easily, disperses difficultly in mixing process. However, TBBS(NS)-80 has good dosing and mixing property, and won’t cake at ordinary temperature and humidity. It has good fluidity, no irritating dust and no material loss. It keeps optimal activity of TBBS(NS) and easily disperses in kinds of rubber compounds. Recommend that TBBS(NS)-80 is added at last stage of mixing.
Dosage In NR system:
As primary accelerator, 0.5~1.0 phr with 2.5~3.5 phr sulfur;
As secondary accelerator, 0.5 phr with 0.3 phr thiol or thiuram and 1.5~3.5 phr sulfur.
In SBR system, 1.0~1.4 phr with 0~0.2 phr thiuram and 1.5~2.5 phr sulfur.
Applications TBBS(NS)-80 is used in tires, rubber hoses, rubber belts, conveyer and rubber shoes, etc.
Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kgs/bag.
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlightfor up to 1 year.
