Product Description NOBS(MBS)-80 imparts long scorch time, processing safety and fast curing to rubber compound. It can increase heat-resistance and compression set property of vulcanizate when used alone in low sulfur curing system or by combination with dithiocarbamate or thiuram. NOBS(MBS)-80 shortens scorch time when combined with dithiocarbamate and thiuram, especially with TMTM-80. NOBS(MBS)-80 delays scorch used in low sulfur rubber compound containing thiol and thiuram.
Processing Characteristics Generally, NOBS(MBS) powder adheres to devices easily, disperses difficultly in mixing process. However, NOBS(MBS)-80has good dosing and mixing property, and won’t cake at ordinary temperature and humidity. It has good fluidity, no irritating dust and no material loss. It keeps optimal activity of NOBS(MBS) and easily disperses in kinds of rubber compounds. Recommend that NOBS(MBS)-80 is added at last stage of mixing.
Dosage In NR system:
As primary accelerator, 0.8～1.2 phr NOBS(MBS)-80 with 2.5～4 phr sulfur;
As assistant accelerator, 0.05～0.4 phr NOBS(MBS)-80 with 1～1.5 phr thiazol and 1.5～3 phr sulfur.
In SBR system:
0.1～0.4 phr NOBS(MBS)-80 with 1～1.5 phr thiazol and 1.5～2.5 phr sulfur.
In NBR system:
0.05～0.4 phr NOBS(MBS)-80 with 1.5～2.4 phr sulfur and 0.8～1.5 phr sulfonamide.
Applications NOBS(MBS)-80 is applicable for tire tread, tire body, rubber hose, rubber belt, conveyer belt, rubber shoes and cable, etc.
Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kg/bag.
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlightfor up to 1 year.
