Characteristics Adhesive A (HMMM) is composed of hexamethoxymethyl melamine and acts as the methylene donor in resorcinol-formaldehyde-silica direct rubber adhesive system. It is soluble in water and common organic solvent.
Applications Adhesive A (HMMM) leads to the adhesion action via reacting with methylene receptor such as adhesive RE, RS, etc.. This reaction will quickly start at the vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the adhesion action of the matching system will disappear. When temperature is below 90℃, adhesive A will mixed with methylene receptor in a dispersed condition. Therefore, reasonable caution should be exercised in use of it. In a word, it should be evenly dispersed in the system. Generally, at first, rubber, filler and methylene receptor are added and mixed at a higher temperature, the Adhesive A and other ingredients are added simultaneously at final mixing stage.
The recommended addition levels are 1.5~3 phr of Adhesive A and 2~5 phr other methylene receptor.
Packaging Tinplate bucket, net weight 20Kgs/bucket.
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlight.
